So the big man has NOT signed his LOI, and is waiting until after USC meets with the infractions committee on 2/19/10. Wow, this could change some things since all indications are that they cheated pretty badly and Carroll knew it and left town before the hammer dropped.
But it's okay - Lame already informed Sean, who seems to be the mastermind through all of this trying to get his sad little rap career started out in LA, that there is no proof of any major violations and everything will be fine. Yeah, I'd trust that guy...wouldn't you?
So does this open the door for the Gophs...probably not. But it does leave a glimmer of hope for Ohio State and Miami as possible destinations.
The wildcard in all of this is that Seantrel still hasn't qualified academically yet...so we might be going through all of this garbage for nothing if he can't even be on the field.
College Football at its best...gotta love it.
