Standings through Week 10 + End of an era

Nice win last night for all of us that bet the game - here's the updated standings through 10 Weeks of the FOOTBALL CHALLENGE

TOTAL
MR 87 63 58.0%
MH 83 67 55.3%
JR 79 71 52.7%
RO 78 72 52.0%
JG 78 72 52.0%
GR 78 72 52.0%
MC 77 73 51.3%
SS 76 74 50.7%
AW 73 77 48.7%

ROE increased his lead with a great 11-4 week. Seriously dude, you need a 2-13 clunker to make us all feel like we have a shot.

NFL
MR 30 15 66.7%
JG 27 18 60.0%
JR 27 18 60.0%
MH 26 19 57.8%
AW 25 20 55.6%
SS 25 20 55.6%
MC 24 21 53.3%
GR 23 22 51.1%
RO 22 23 48.9%

Really? 67% in the NFL...can ROE keep this up?

NCAA
MR 57 48 54.3%
MH 57 48 54.3%
RO 56 49 53.3%
GR 55 50 52.4%
MC 53 52 50.5%
JR 52 53 49.5%
SS 51 54 48.6%
JG 51 54 48.6%
AW 48 57 45.7%

And shocker, ROE is on top of the NCAA standings as well. I think if he wins again this year he will be the 1st FOOTBALL CHALLENGE Hall of Fame inductee.

My friend, our friend, Dan Hawkins was fired last night from Colorado. It was quite a Brewster-like ride at CU for the Hawk. If nothing else, COL hires entertaining coaches that give us quotes that will live on forever...here is the Hawk's legacy - maybe my favorite freak out at a press conference ever, you should listen.

STREAKS and STUFF

ROE and HEINERT both have a 4 week stretch of being above .500 going right now...sounds like 2-13 and 3-12 next week!

ROE has hit double digits for wins 5 times in 10 weeks...the other 8 of us have 11 double digit win weeks combined.

SS owns the worst record in a single week at 3-12 in week 4 - it's part of the initiation process for the new kid - you have to have at least 1 absolute disaster week. RO - I think yours is still coming.

We have not had an 0'fer in any form this year (TOTAL, NFL, NCAA) but I think it will happen eventually.

Thought about making my first college basketball bet of the year last night, but abstained...would have won with UC Irvine +22 at ILL, but I didn't do it. Damn, missed opportunity.

If you're looking for some late night action to play tonight...WOLVES at LAKERS (-17) and the total is 217.5

Wolves are allowing 114 ppg...wow, that's a lot. But that still means the Wolves have to break 100 to hit an over...good bet on the under? It's gone UNDER the last 4 times we have played LAL. Wolves are shooting 38% and allowing 47%...how have we only won 1 time?!?

Week 11 lines coming soon...including a game tonight in NCAA and some Thursday Action for the NFL start up this week - FOOTBALL EVERY DAY!!!
